Strong to gale force winds today, easing tonight and tomorrow

A large area of high pressure over the eastern U.S. will be quasi-stationary through Sunday, then begin to slowly drift eastward. This high will pass to our north Tuesday night and on to our northeast. Strong to gale winds and showery weather is in store for today. Winds begin to ease this evening, becoming moderate by Monday night and light to moderate on Tuesday.
