6×6

The Bermuda Arts Centre invites everyone to the opening of our annual 6×6 show.

This is the best Art Deal of the year with all paintings at one price of $66.00 each.
All paintings in this show are 6”x6”, and have kindly been donated to us by local artists.
It is a chance to own a painting by one of Bermuda’s leading artists for an incredible price.

THERE IS ONE RULE FOR THE EVENING: Only two paintings per person per purchase. Once you have purchased your paintings you may return to purchase another two. This gives everyone a fair chance at this one time incredible offer.

Every year we try to make the show run smoother. This year we will be having two lines for payment  – Cash and Credit Card. If you have cash you will be in and out of the line quickly and back to the wall to make another purchase.
The Gallery will be closed from 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. while the paintings are hung.
The show opens at 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
We advise that you get there early to avoid disappointment.  Paintings sell quickly.
The show will remain open until April 20.

http://bernews.com/2018/02/bermuda-arts-centre-present-reflections/

The Bermuda Arts Centre is getting set to present “Reflections,” a show opening on Sunday [Feb 25] from 3.30pm to 5.00pm.

A spokesperson said, “This a members’ show. While there is nothing more beautiful than Bermuda’s water reflections, the show is open to any interpretation on the subject. Once again, The Bermuda Arts Centre has been delighted with the local art that has been entered, in all media. We can assure the visitor that they will be impressed with the content of this show.

“To tie into the show, the Arts Centre is also having a fundraiser simply titled “Reflections”. Bermuda’s leading artists are entering mirrors of all sizes and media in support of the Gallery.

“An interesting mix and one of a kind mirrors are available for silent auction. All mirrors can be viewed on their website. The page is updated with new mirrors added and new bids posted.

“Bids for the mirrors can simply be made by calling the Gallery at 234 2809 or sending an email to [email protected]

“Final bids for the mirrors will be accepted at 4:30 p.m. on February 25 at the Opening.”

“Reflections remains at the gallery until March 16, 2018. The gallery is open every day from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. [winter hours], is wheel chair accessible, and with free admission.”

Hats off to our Plein Air Painters !

It didn’t rain last night, but that north wind was taking no prisoners ! Plein Air Painters crouched behind cars, peeked from buildings, and hid behind trees to try and cut off the wind. Easels fell, paint flew and curses filled the air, but when that moon rose, everyone paused to admire the magic in the sky.

A wonderful display of work came through the Arts Centre’s doors at the end of it all, and along with it smiles of accomplishments.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE PLEIN AIR GROUP OF BERMUDA FOR MAKING THIS NIGHT A SUCCESS !

Our Next Show

“Blue Moon” is our next show.
You may enter anything that you wish.
Any subject. Any media.
For the duration of the opening, between
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm,  all work in the gallery will be discounted by 25%.
Once the opening is over the discount will no longer apply.
Work which has been entered in the show will then remain on our walls until February 23.
