Judith davidson

Judith was born and educated in Bermuda.  As a member of The Garden Club of Bermuda, she has had a long association with floral art.  A judge, demonstrator, teacher and exhibitor, she has traveled all over the world sharing her talents and artistry.  When a back injury curtailed these activities, she turned to fine art, eager to learn its many mysteries.

After retiring from work in a busy paediatric office, she received paints and brushes as a Christmas gift and has never looked back.  She is mostly a self-taught artist, but has taken advantage of workshops offered by many visiting artists over the years.

Judith enjoys painting in any medium, but has found the buttery feeling of oil to be her favourite, whether using brushes or palette knives.  She is constantly drawn to the colours of Bermuda’s sky, sea and sand, and feels most comfortable with this palette.  She is a member of the Bermuda Plein Air Painters and has benefited tremendously from the advice of fellow artists during the critique at the end of each session.
