BETTY POGUE CONNELLY

                                                      International Artist

Betty is from Ottawa, Canada where she taught Senior Sciences and Mathematics for a number of years. It was when she began to teach internationally in Mexico, Spain, and the Middle East that she started her second pursuit, being a visual artist. She subsequently completed a BFA at NSCAD University, Nova Scotia Canada and a Post Baccalaureate Diploma from the National University of Ireland. She presently enjoys her craft at her studio in the Ottawa Valley, teaching art, and exhibiting at various local shows and galleries. Her present joy continues to be international travel, this time in the form of art residencies in France, England and Ireland. She has been accepted to return to the Tyrone Guthrie Centre for the Arts in Co. Monaghan, Ireland for the month of March/19.
